Texy is a browser that shows you only the text because Texy people like to read, not scroll ;)

Open a page and Texy requests the document itself. It loads no images, scripts, stylesheets, fonts, or beacons by default, and it never runs JavaScript. Pages appear quickly and stay free of distractions. Available for Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android.

Pages for reading

  • Clean, structured text. Read headings, lists, tables, quotes, code, and links without the clutter around them.

  • Reader mode when you want it. Turn it on for an article and Texy remembers your choice for that page.

  • Images on your terms. Alt text remains as a tappable placeholder. Media loads only when you choose an item; nothing is prefetched.

  • Page Stats. See what a page left out and what it would have cost to load.

  • One document request per page. Redirects require their own requests; choosing to load media makes an additional request for that item.

Your browser, your way

  • Find your place. Keep bookmarks in folders, search your browsing history, and import bookmarks from other browsers.

  • Browse privately. Incognito tabs and windows record no history and are never saved.

  • Stay in control. Search suggestions are off until you enable them. A built-in domain blocklist stops ad, tracker, and malware domains.

  • Sync across devices. A free Texy account offers encrypted sync.

  • Make it yours. Choose themes, vibes, and bundled fonts, including the Space theme. Shape your start page on iPhone, iPad, and Android.

Texy supports keyboard navigation and VoiceOver on Apple devices, TalkBack and font scaling on Android, and English, Spanish, German, and French. The Mac app includes native windows, tabs, and familiar shortcuts.

Some features, including blocking, media, import, sync, themes, and fonts, need a free Texy account. Texy asks you to sign in when you use one. Optional product analytics never include full addresses, searches, or page content. Read the Texy privacy policy for details.
